Olson Solar Energy

Each mark is one company we hold in Wisconsin whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Olson Solar Energy is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

We have had some ups and downs with our Olson Solar experience. We started working with them over a year ago and were impressed with their competitive quote and the positive experience of a family member who had them do his system. Since then we've had some ups and downs. Their installation schedule kept getting pushed back from beginning of September to finally getting the panels installed just before Christmas. Throughout this time they didn't reach out to inform me of the delays due to supply chain issues. I had to keep calling them to find out about the change of plans. After the panels we

Worst experience. We were very excited to get solar panels and at first it started out ok but then everything went wrong.we started the process in May and had to fight to get any updates with when this is going to be put up. Finally put up the panels in November and after the panels are put up they finally had the master electrician out just to find out they we need to come up with $10000 more dollars to have the panels hooked up! They never had the correct approvals and lied to us for 2 months that every week they were going to be hooked up until finally we ended up taking them out because th

Happy overall with end product. During the sales process we asked if system will track all energy to and from grid. We were assured it would by the sales person and installation staff. Our system doesn't track all energy, only to and from battery. Olson shared after the fact it would cost more to get what we were informed would be installed. Still glad we made the investment, get a battery too it's worth it. Communication during install period was spotty but if you reached out someone would get back to you.

Olson Solar Energy is awesome. Our utility bills have been going down every year since they were put in. They are very helpful if we have any concerns of our solar equipment. I would highly recommend them to anyone that’s looking to get solar panels installed!!!

I liked working with Olson Solar Energy. I think it is a good company that treats their people well. There were lots of pieces (construction, electrical, inspectors) and they did their best to keep on schedule, despite some very uncooperative/windy weather. I always felt informed, and they were responsive when I reached out. All of the crews in my house were polite and respectful and very patient with all my questions. We got batteries in the basement, so I asked a bunch of questions while they were working. I work from home, so any delays were not too big a deal to reschedule. Would absolutel

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

• Google also lists this company under electrical.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
