Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in the Hartford area. Across Connecticut, 55 of the 112 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 20 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Ordered by the share of one and two star reviews, weighted by how many reviews stand behind it. It ranks review records, not workmanship.

What reviewers said

I had an outstanding experience with Omega Energy from start to finish. Their crew was incredibly professional, respectful, and hardworking. They showed up when they said they would, worked efficiently, and had my entire 42-panel solar system installed in just a day and a half, which honestly blew me away. What impressed me the most was the quality of their workmanship and attention to detail. The installation looks incredibly clean, from the panel layout on the roof to the conduit and overall finish. They clearly take pride in their work. They also treated my property with respect. When they

Omega Energy is a great company. The Sales Rep. Will cut my trees and lowered my electric bills substantially, I’m very happy with the service.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“or full solar power. Financing Financing options are available for a range of…”

  • Warranty

“by sudden utility rate increases. Warranty Our panels come with a 25 year…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

  • It posts on LinkedIn, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
