Quad City Solar

Each mark is one company we hold in Iowa whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Quad City Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Lucas did an outstanding job of helping us get our original solar energy system specified and helped us chose the optimal components for what we wanted the system to do. Utilizing lead-free components was very important to us so he really beat the bushes to find the RoHS compliant REC solar panels. He also wasn't afraid to build in the daylight backup capability even though that technology was fairly new at that time. Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

• It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
