We have had our solar for a few years and whenever there is an issue no one returns our calls. Currently our system isn’t working. They do a great job selling and installing the system but have terrible service after the install.

They set appointment. We rearranged our schedule to be home. They didn't show. Then blamed us for not calling them before appointment time. Bad business practices. If you set an appointment, you show up. Our salesmen where I work do and have a much bigger area to cover. Not a good company to try to do business with.

I typically don't even take the time to write bad reviews. Install process was absolutely horrible. Aesthetically they took no time to review with us and we were very disappointed. Wrong permits were filed which cause a substantial …

These guys were fantastic. They composed a plan and worked the plan. The Job was completed in two days, due to rain. Now that the panels have been installed I'm on waiting for BG&E Inspection and I'm hoping that doesn't take all of three weeks to complete and me up and running. Also, my representative and I spoke of finders fees, back to me if/when I'm successful in selling my neighbors, family and friends( no one has solar in my block or surroundings). If all goes as promised my bragging will close deals for RENU SOLAR AND I'LL BE CONPENSATED

The crew did a great job. Explained everything and left it looking better than when they got here

They came out and explained everything in detail. They are very thorough and helpful. My energy costs will be fixed for the next 25 years.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Free estimate

“will visit your home for a FREE consultation to ensure your home is a good fit for…”

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
