Its one and two star share is 1 point above the typical installer in Pennsylvania. Across Pennsylvania, 65 of the 146 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 91 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I don't know how Solarity conducts its hiring practices, but based on what I've personally observed, I would be extremely cautious about doing business with the company. Bryan Kuhn is a major reason why. After spending time with another company in the industry and leaving more than once, he later rebranded himself as "That Solar Guy" and began posting frequent social media videos claiming to help families save significant amounts of money by switching to solar. These videos and his apparent "success in helping families" come with several red flags: 1. The content appears highly scripted. Many

Decided to pull the trigger on Solar, with the increases in energy and receiving my highest energy bills ever it was the only choice to help me stay consistent and reduce my cost without spending any money upfront! Thank you Russell Simpson for helping through the process and @solarity energy solutions for a great experience!!! If you are interested let me know or reach out to Russ directly!

Sales rep Tom was knowledgeable, friendly, and not at all pushy. He explained every step of the process and answered all of my questions. The installers were friendly, professional, courteous, and as unobtrusive as people working on your roof and in your attic possibly could be. Great experience so far, now I’m just waiting on the county and utilities to approve the work so I can see how the savings look once the panels are live. I’ll report back once I have some data.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“competitive pricing, and flexible financing options—including no money down. Every…”

  • Family owned

“more sustainable future. As a family-owned company founded in 2023, we take…”

  • Years in business

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate and established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

  • It posts on LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
