Its one and two star share is 23 points above the typical installer in Massachusetts. Across Massachusetts, 26 of the 198 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 4 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

What reviewers said

  • 1★ · around March 2026

This company is a SCAM!! They use the bait and switch tactic to attract new customers. They offered a 20% utility bill discount plus visa gift card and told us the solar farm in our area would be active at the end of the month (March 2026). We signed up and had to cancel our then current solar company where we received a 15% discount. The truth was that the solar farm from Roofless Solar wasn't going to be ready until at least November 2026 and maybe even later into 2027!!!! They never contacted us to inform us of that and only admitted to it after I did my own research. Classic bait and switc

Reviewer names are not published here. Negative reviews are shown first because they are the ones a listing hides, not because they are more representative.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Established

“arrays offsetting their energy usage. Since 2009, the community solar industry has…”
  • Years in business

“Our average team member has more than 6 years of experience in community solar.”

Its website also mentions warranty, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
