Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in Greenville. Across South Carolina, 63 of the 101 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 74 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

What reviewers said

I needed to replace a roof on one of my listings and solar panels needed to be removed and reinstalled. After extensive research I chose Service Solar LLC. Connor scheduled everything that was needed and saw to it that the job was completed in a very timely manner. I was given a very fair price and the job was done very professionally including the reinstallation and clean up. The service I received resulted in total satisfaction. I highly recommend Service Solar, and thank Connor for the professional service that I received.

Service Solar removed and then reinstalled our solar panels so we could get a new roof. They were very hard working and knowledgeable.

Extremely courteous and professional, prompt and fair priced. I will definitely use them again.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Greenville is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
