Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in Michigan. Across Michigan, 49 of the 84 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 5 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

As a residential customer I was pleasantly surprised they would sell to me in a small quantity. I was able to install everything by myself and ran into no issues. The end result is exactly as expected.

I called this company for help with quotes on outfitting a parking lot with solar canopies for a final project at my university for an engineering class. Although I wasn't making a purchase and made it clear that this was only for estimates for this theoretical school project, the individual I spoke with on the phone, Jeff Mathie, was more than accommodating. He was willing to go above and beyond of what I had even expected and made my experience corresponding with this company helpful and painless. Top notch experience. Everything was ready when I got there. Justin, Kam, and their crew loaded everything on my trailer, and provided help securing the load. Everything went as smooth as one could ask, a real asset to the DIYer.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on YouTube and LinkedIn. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
