Whoever the person is at this company who drives a black Toyota Camry and has a long beard, I'm guessing it's the owner, has no earthly idea how to conduct himself or his business in a proper manner. He came into a local business near my home and was causing a scene, using slurs, saying unnecessary rude remarks, and the owners were only trying to help him. I was only an onlooker, but when I saw the vehicle he was driving and the shirt he was wearing, I figured he was the owner of this company or manager. Terrible person, whoever you are.

BEWARE DON'T USE THEM! First upon them coming out see if solar panels were right for us it seemed all well and good. We were told to get the loan and then we can use our tax credit we get from the panels to pay back to 50K for them. THIS WAS NOT TRUE. Then upon coming out to the house I told them where I wanted to solar panels and I didn't care if it tore up my lawn. They first came out on a day we told them we wouldn't be home and did not give approval to break ground they installed the panels anyway in a place we said absolutely do not place them there. We even marked on the property where w

Tried to get service for my array and they never called me back! What is someone to do? Called multiple times over multiple days and left messages. They make you leave negative reviews on Google because they won’t even call you back. No company in west Michigan will fix your solar array. They all will only sell you an array - and once your installer goes out of business, you are out of luck. When Climax goes out of business, all their customers will be out of luck with no company willing to service them. Manufacturers say to call local installers like Climax Solar. I see scathing reviews but so far I haven't had a bad experience. We got our panels three years ago. We got a huge system so obviously that's not going to be done in one day. We do get a tax rebate but you can only get a certain amount each year and that's the states law, not the company themselves. One of the workers did mess up some wiring and fried our appliances but they paid for all of those. The panels have saved us thousands of dollars and we don't regret the choice. I only put a four because I needed to resolve one small problem but I called once so far and there wasn't an answer but I

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.
Elsewhere
- It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
