Helios Solar LLC

Each mark is one company we hold in the Grand Rapids area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Helios Solar LLC is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I am a current solar array owner requiring service for an existing solar array issue. The company that installed it went bankrupt. I tried to find a local company like Helios. At first, Helios Solar didn't return voicemails that were left. After making contact, they refused to service the brand. The approach that Helios Solar takes makes it difficult to recommend solar to others. It is not like getting HVAC or appliance service. Local companies will refuse to call you back or just refuse to offer service. The lack of local options makes it so you have to look as far away as Detroit for service

Helios Solar recently installed solar panels and a Tesla battery at our home, based on a trusted recommendation from my daughter’s high school teacher. The team, especially Brandon and Connor, was professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Helios Solar to anyone considering solar energy solutions.

Helios Solar of Kalamazoo MI has been a joy to work with. They were fast, efficient and their work was outstanding. They took care of all the paperwork, inspections and interaction with the power company, making the project worry free. I am surprised with how much power the system makes even when its cloudy. Helios solar is a great company to work with

Connor Fields at Helios Solar was incredibly helpful. The solar company who installed our system, Climax Solar, filed for bankruptcy and went out of business. All summer our solar system was not working. After many phone calls to try to figure out what to do, we contacted Helios Solar. Connor got back to us immediately, got permission from us to look at our account, and determined right away what the issue was and what we needed to do, ie contact Consumers as the electric voltage push was too high. Consumers took care of the issue, but without the guidance from Helios Solar and Connor, we woul

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Established

“most trusted solar company. Since 2009, Helios Solar has been West…”

• Years in business

“Engineering and Economics. With more than 13 years of experience working in the solar…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on ConsumerAffairs. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
