Solar Systems of Maine

Each mark is one company we hold in Lewiston whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Solar Systems of Maine is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

We couldn’t be happier with the incredible work done by SolarSystems of Maine on the installation of 28 solar panels at our property. Their team was efficient, timely, and highly professional every step of the way. Thanks to their expertise, we’re now set to enjoy significant savings on our electricity costs while making a positive impact on the environment. If you’re considering switching to solar energy, we highly recommend their services. Big shoutout to the team for such an impressive job! #SolarEnergy #GoGreen #SolarPower #EnergySavings #ProfessionalService

Great company to work with. My solars been up for 4 months now and working wonderful. These guys were smooth to work with and the best price out of 4 different quotes I got. They took care of all the permitting and CMP paperwork and helped me navigate the app on my phone to monitor my system. Highly recommend !

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Financing

“in a circle on a white background. Financing Available Discover the various methods to…”

• Family owned

“on every project Locally owned and family operated Residential and commercial services…”

Its website also mentions warranty and free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on Facebook and Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Lewiston is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
