I just spoke with Linda, who said she would refuse to give her name until she finished talking, after being disrespectful and belittling too - I just wanted her name so that I could tell their management about how she "handled" me. I did tell T&D what transpired in addition to reaching out to a manager named Shelby. I waited an entire week for Solar Trek to get back to me about my ISWIM solar repair which they said they were going to charge to repair despite the previous repair failing, and irregardless to T&D assuring me that my ISWIM was grandfathered with it's original 10 year warranty. Waste of time and money. I had called them to check inverter as we suspected was not working. They came out, charged me 149$ service charge to tell me they dont know whats wrong with system and that i will need to call manufacturer to proceed. When i called the office i was told that since solar trek wasnt the original installer, they couldnt access online info until i notify manufacturer. Had they told me this when i scheduled apt, it would not have been a waste of time or money. The next place i called, came out, immediately identified the problem (without calling manufacturer) then processe

Solar Trek installed a solar panel on my roof to heat my pool. A few years later I had a new roof installed. I could have had my roofer remove and dispose of the solar panel at no additional cost. Solar Trek said they would carefully remove the panel and then reinstall the panel when the new roof was completed for $825. I agreed. Solar Trek removed the panel, but not carefully. When the new roof was completed, Solar Trek said they couldn't remount the panel on my roof but would be happy to sell me a completely new system in my back yard. Their engineer said they didn't like roof mounting syste

We were amazed at the change in the temperature of the house after the Solar Tec tinting! The glare from our 25’ high cupola windows was eliminated and we are thrilled with the results! Thank you Carlos!!!

I just bought a house that has solar heating for the pool and was having some issues with it leaking and the previous owner had that repaired right before we bought it so they were really good about getting Brandon the technician out to look at it and he fixed it for us no charge because it was still a small leak and he also helped fix a sensor that was out they are a great company I would recommend them for all your pool solar needs

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“Start saving from day one with our financing options. Say goodbye to sky-high electric…”

  • Warranty

“two years ago, they are doing free warranty work. They stand behind their system.”

  • Established

“Pioneers Leading the solar revolution since 1981, Solar Trek has been at the forefront…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
