Its one and two star share is 18 points above the typical installer in the Apache Junction area. Across Arizona, 20 of the 269 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 24 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Apache Junction area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. SolarTech is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I rarely write reviews, but after an 8+ month experience with SolarTech, this one is warranted. What should have been a straightforward solar installation turned into a prolonged and frustrating process marked by delays, poor coordination, and inconsistent communication from start to finish. The issues began early. Before installation even started, the project ran into permitting problems, including denied and incomplete applications. Despite this, I was told the system could be marked “installed” for financing and tax purposes—even though it was not fully installed or operational. SolarTech b

Recent dealings with this company for my home in Scottsdale; they are not transparent and will set you up based on inaccurate information. Communications and customer service SUCKS! Do your research. They say they've been around and well known, but not! Also, check out their Better Business Bureau rating! Oh wait, not listed on BBB. They are a scam! Do your homework, and go with a reputable company! My husband and I are so much happier with the provider we went with.

Giving them one star is very generous I was going to give them zero but it won't let me post this if I do that I would not recommend using them they are the worst company they took over a hundred days to get the inspection passed the inspector finally said after the third time of turning them down if they come back out one more time and it doesn't pass they're going to start charging them. The panels have been on my roof since August and this is the middle of February and my solar is still not on yet. If they come to your door or call you tell them no and run. I even called another solar compa

The installation is now functioning and producing power, but the overall experience was frustrating. The original plans showed the battery located outside the house, but the design was later changed to place it inside the garage, which caused delays while waiting for revised plans. I was told the garage location would be better. However, once installed in the garage, the placement was poor and significantly reduces usable space. My car door is now at risk of hitting the unit when opening, which could have been avoided if it had been positioned further back to allow proper clearance. Overall, t

Steve and Jen at SolarTech are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely care about helping people make the right decision for their home. They take the time to explain everything clearly and aren’t about pushing someone into something that doesn’t make sense. If you’re considering solar in Arizona and want people you can trust, I’d definitely recommend reaching out to Steve and Jen at SolarTech!

I’ve had two different purchase experiences, one with solar panels and a solar battery and then another purchase involving another solar battery. Steve and Jennifer helped me through both purchases explaining everything to me. They analyzed my electric bill and my Tesla app to get the right settings in my system.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“services. Financing Discover flexible financing options to make solar energy affordable for…”
  • Warranty

“monitoring . Do you offer support for warranty or non-warranty issues? Yes. We…”
  • Years in business

“specific energy usage patterns. With over 25 years of experience and 15,000+…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, established and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on ConsumerAffairs. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
