Its one and two star share is 4 points above the typical installer in the Boulder City area. Across Nevada, 29 of the 81 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 20 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Boulder City area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. SolarX Energy Solutions is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

2yrs later I’m still waiting for the panels to be activated. No one is responding back to me to get this moving forward and I reached out to Will a month ago with still no response. I’d like to remove my panels ASAP. *Update* Still nothing. Not a single person has bothered to reach out. Don’t fall for their scam and go with a reputable company for your solar needs.

The most disrespectful group of people I’ve ever encountered. Brandon was the worst of the group. He was super rude, entitled and arrogant. They tried to take advantage of an elderly couple. Sure solar is a great investment but I do not recommend working with this company. All these good reviews are left by friends or relatives of the workers and we’re given discounts for their reviews or just paid to write them. I’d give zero stars if I could.

As a finance guy, I can’t say enough good things about the whole experience of our solar panel installation from the planning phase to completion and even the follow-up. As much power as our house uses plus detached buildings, I’m amazed over a year later that we’re still producing a surplus. Strongly recommend the team at SolarX.

A very professional company. My quote was extremely reasonable and so much better than that of some other companies. The installation crew arrived on time and really did a tremendous job on the install and cleanup. I'm very satisfied with Solar X and would recommend them to anyone looking for Solar. price was

SolarX was able to beat every other competitor on both price and size of system. I ended up getting more kWh per dollar (cheaper), and more kWh in general (fit more panels, and higher watt panels) than all the ‘big box’ names I spoke with. Customer experience was top notch: one of the owners, John, was an absolute pleasure and a breeze to work with. 100% Recommended!

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
