  I understand I have a system that was not installed by them, but they said they repair. Paid them for a 2 hr service call, tech showed up for 10 min took pictures and said they would get back to on if they could repair. Never received a call back, sent emails no response. Had to finally call to get refund since they never returned calls or emails. When I finally talked to them they told me they couldn't repair nor did they have any suggestions on how t I replace or repair what we have. Will never do business with this company

  If I could give less than one star, I will. I have long waited for South Texas Solar System to fix whatever went wrong with my system. I got my solar system around May 2021, and it has been hell waiting for it to work correctly. It is already the year 2023! I had it operating for around 3 to 4 months, if not less appropriately. The last I knew, they were waiting for Panasonic company to replace the damaged parts (part of their deal or something), but the waiting is getting ridiculous and highly stressful! I have been paying two bills all this time, and nobody keeps me updated on any news, even

  DONT WASTE YOUR Time and money. NO SERVICE!!!! For 3 months the service is not done yet. The panels not producing energy because of the chip they need to replace or something and there’s only one technician for the whole company. The customer service are not reachable by phone, you can call for days… Horrible service!!!

  Sales man Armando did a good job, however I was promised to get a check for the cancellation fee of my prior electric company to make the solar panels work with one that takes solar. I provided a copy of the cancellation several times to STSS and they keep promising I will get it. It has passed half a year of the installation.

  I am rating South Texas Solar Services a solid 5, and this is why; Since the original installation of our solar panels in 2015, South Texas Solar has washed the panels at least once and sometimes twice a year. In 2020 we had the house reroofed requiring the panels to be removed, stored and later, reinstalled. We also required service when an optimizer failed and a panel failed. Through all of these things, Tina and Lawton diagnosed problems and fixed them. This required them to climb on a steep, very slippery steel roof. They have consistently been timely, professional and friendly. I strongly
