Its one and two star share is 11 points above the typical installer in the Plymouth area. Across Massachusetts, 59 of the 198 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 512 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in the Plymouth area, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★30%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Plymouth area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Trinity Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I'd like to know why Sunstrong is asking me to pay when I'm installing your solar company's system. Do you have a partnership with them? Why is there also Sunnova? Are these two different companies, or has one gone out of business? Why do I need to pay both an electricity bill and a solar bill?

Trinity Solar engaged in predatory pricing and has failed to complete my project, leaving me with non-functional equipment and significant financial loss. The company has demonstrated severe project mismanagement, including ignored consumer protection demands and attempts to inflate system prices by thousands of dollars. Avoid this contractor, as formal AG enforcement actions are currently being sought. Buyer beware.

Absolutely the most atrocious customer service experience I've dealt in my 4 decades on this planet. Our 10 year old system stopped producing electricity in 9 months ago. Despite trinity having access to your production, they won't give you a courtesy call there might be something wrong with it. When I found out, I immediately called them. They said they'll get their team try to trouble shoot the problem remotely and if they can't, will get a service person to our house. Didnt hear for 2 weeks, called them back- turns out their remote team found no problem with my system and closed the case. N

After interviewing a total of 5 solar companies, I went with Trinity based on price (which was pretty comparable across the 5 except for Boston Solar, simply because they do not lease). Unfortunately, once I signed on the dotted line, there was a not-so-short line of headaches from installation to activation of the panels. These included: Trinity inadvertently disconnecting the electrical meter during installation, which did not cut off power, but did not make it easy for National Grid to calculate my usage, which in turn led to lost time trying to coordinate between National Grid and Trinity

Trinity was very easy to deal with and extremely communicative! And Tyrone did a wonderful job explaining the process and every step along the way.

Jake and his whole Trinity team are amazing!!! I could not of asked for better people to work with through this process. They always kept me in the loop and would go out of thier way if needed. Highly recommend group of people!!!

  • It is also reviewed on ConsumerAffairs. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
