Its one and two star share is 1 point above the typical installer in Port St Lucie. Across Florida, 290 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 21 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Port St Lucie whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Tryon Pool Heating, Solar and Plumbing is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

On 8/23/19 they gave me an estimate. I needed them to reattach a solar pool heater where it had unattached from my roof and stop a leak where a bolt had pulled out. They gave me 2 quotes. They said the entire system needed to be reattached. Quote to replace all hardware and PVC $2750. Other quote to replace hardware as needed $1750. They said it’d take 2 hours. Sounded high so I got another estimate. Other co Climatic Solar fixed it for $75.

I called Tryon Monday morning and spoke to Alicia (?) and explained that my pool’s solar panels were leaking. She asked how many days it had been since I was able to run the pool pump. At that time it had been 3 days. She said that she would check the schedule and get back to me. She was able to fit me in to a late Wednesday afternoon appointment. When the techs arrived they identified the problem immediately. Within 30 minutes the techs had repaired the leaks and completed a tuneup of system. The techs were very professional and knowledgeable as was Alicia. Great service!

Simply the Best Company I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with in South Florida for 9 years!

Tryon has provided the best customer service and support…not to mention superior quality work that…by the way is guaranteed. Our project included both solar and plumbing…we wont call anyone else for either from now on!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Years in business

“pool heating and solar company has over 40 years of experience. We understand that…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Port St Lucie is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
