Its one and two star share is 27 points above the typical installer in Ogden. Across Utah, 19 of the 167 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 14 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Ogden whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Utah Roof and Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

We added $10,000 to our solar loan to help pay to put in our back yard. Michael took that money. He thought his solar company needed it more than we did. He never finished installing our solar. It took 2 and a half year to get them installed and running. We had to hire another solar company to finish the job. Michael stole from us and totally misrepresented himself and his company to us. DO NOT TRUST HIM.

To Michael: Thank you! You will never be forgotten brother! Always remember the raccoons! Thanks again for being a good dude and for helping me through it! I wish you nothing but the best for you and your business moving forward. I can't wait to see you in the news with your revolution in the industry to come! You've been instrumental in my journey and I can't express enough gratitude. Have a great life and may you have much success! Peace brother✌️

I got brand new panels on my home recently while it was freezing cold outside. These workers amazed me with what they could do and how well they did it.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
