Velocity Energy and Home Solutions

Each mark is one company we hold in Egg Harbor Twp whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Velocity Energy and Home Solutions is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Had a really uncomfortable experience today with someone going door-to-door. A guy named Keyon knocked, but I didn’t hear it at first just my dogs going crazy. When I checked my camera, he was sitting on my planter outside my house. I went out to see what was going on, and he said he was hot and had been outside all day and just needed a break. I kept it polite and told him to email me whatever he was trying to pitch since he clearly already had my information. I go back inside… 5–10 minutes later, my dogs are losing it again. I check the camera now he’s literally rolling around on the ground

I strongly advise caution before working with Velocity Energy and Home Solutions. While the initial sales process and installation were smooth, the certification process and follow-up support have been incredibly unprofessional. We experienced significant delays due to simple paperwork errors, on Velocity's part, that cost us months of additional utility bills and an inattention to detail (the exterior panels were left open after a visit-see attached picture), but the most frustrating part was the hardware installation itself. Our Enphase app (system monitoring) was showing only a small fracti

I was dealing with velocity solar and had the worst experience I've ever had. Giamo was my rep and he completely lied to me and tried to take advantage of my family. Thank goodness my cousin who works in solar reviewed my agreement and told me he was not only blatantly lying but also price gauging me so badly. There a lot of great companies out there to go solar with and this is not one of them. He was charging me 21 cents on a 2.9% annual increase! Other companies are offering close to 10 cents or even under that in certain areas so make sure you shop around instead of going with a rep who is

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Velocity Solar! From start to finish, our representative, Joe, made the entire process incredibly easy and stress-free. Joe took the time to explain everything to my husband and me—more than once if needed—making sure we fully understood every step of the process. He handled absolutely everything, from permits to helping us choose our new roof, and never once made us feel pressured into making a decision we weren’t comfortable with. His communication was outstanding, and he was always available to answer our questions. The roofing crew and forema

Velocity did a solar system install on my home about 9 months ago. I waited to do a review because I wanted to make sure the system was performing as promised. So far the system has been exceeding its promised output and had been able to offset all of my usage even during hottest months of the year. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is a need for some improvement in proactive communication. I had to reach out to them a few times to get information that they probably should have just provided to me as a matter of normal practice. That said the work was good, the system is excellent, and

I had a large install and it was done in one day. The installers were good to me and I them. Polite, efficient, knowledgeable and neat.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions financing, warranty, free estimate, established, bonded, insured and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Egg Harbor Twp is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
