Its one and two star share is 58 points above the typical installer in California. Across California, 48 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 27 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Verengo sales, financing and director persons were very informed on product and installation "5" stars. Installers & company well that's a different story they installed and one area of my lights stopped working, I called them out to repair they sent a electrical team that stated it was not the installation but something inside the house. I called an electrician that found the fault in the installation on the new panel. Since they went under and re-emerged as the "NEW Verengo" they have forgotten about us and have had no luck getting more information and informed me that they are mainly focusi

"Verengo Solar is a quality solar installer local to Southern California -- which is an added bonus. They inspected my roof, gave me an estimate, and took care of the necessary permits during installation. Overall great experience. I a green energy superstar now!"

Beyond good service!!! I would give six or seven stars if I could. I've had the solar panels about nine months and I am very pleased. As the time goes by, I will type more reviews to let the readers know how the panels continue to function. Your electric bills will drop substantially!!!

The best decision I ever made was to hire Verengo Solar to install solar energy panels on my home. I discovered 3 different ways I could acquire the panels and I went with their ZERO DOWN option to save me any out of pocket costs. I'm now the proud owner of some slick looking solar panels that are reducing my monthly electric bill to PENNIES!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Manhattan Beach is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
