Charlie Heaton is an abusive individual and has no business being VP of sales.. this individual contacted our landlord found out where we lived and sent people to our home with golf clubs to assault us… then proceeded to convince our landlord to manually pull the electricity on our office/home with a 2 year old inside then pressed our landlord to illegally remove us from a home and an office we’ve paid for in advance … over an alleged 6 year old business dispute.. instead of following proper channels these individuals will result to intimidation and attempted violence

Do not use this company. I was sold on the fact that their customer service was supposed to be excellent. When they installed the solar they ran a conduit in the way of my gutter. When I contacted them they wanted to charge me over $900 to move it. Had they even offered to meet me half way i would have been satisfied. However all I was told is pay the money or deal with it. When I raised my objection (at time of install) i was informed that it was company practice to stay of the eve of a house for this very reason. Clearly during the install the contractors saw construction going on. It doesn'

I'm a contractor I had these folks knock on my door in VIRGINIA yesterday and I know a good bit about how solar works and have some friends that have it. I won't name your employees - But besides just blatantly lying about 1 how solar works in general 2 They kept telling me they were local, but wouldn't say anything further. Finally get to who they are. From Illinois....

After gaining more experience with service calls and a better understanding of how inverter warranties work, I realize my expectations may have been a bit too high at first. I do think they’re trying to do a good job and stay compliant, but at times it feels like there’s a lack of genuine care. Some of the back-and-forth responses I’ve had have left a bad taste in my mouth. While I can’t see myself giving them a 5-star review, I’m willing to update my 1-star to a 3-star because I see the effort being made. Do better. Be better. You’re only as good as your people, and they do have some good peo

The crew that installed our solar panels was on spot with precise team work. Ramon Gonzalez did a great. Cody Hammel is a good salesman and his follow through was exceptional. I highly recommend these guys.

I called into customer service to ask a few questions! I spoke with Karyssa & she was so kind! I was very overwhelmed & she calmed me down, reassuring me my questions were valid, never making me feel like my questions were silly. She was able to answer everything I needed about potentially going solar! I appreciate this! Thank you!

I had a fast timely installation, everything works great and it's nice for both myself and the environment. The price is simple and straightforward and with electric bills increasing frequently it nice to know that mine are set at a monthly payment, thanks a lot to everyone and also for frequent follow-up checkins about the system, highly recommend the company, thanks.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“removal and reinstallation services, warranty coordination, and long-term system…”
  • Free estimate

“below or call 888-337-8257 for your free consultation and lock in your energy prices today.”

Its website also mentions years in business, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • Google also lists this company under electrical.
  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
