Its one and two star share is 1 point above the typical installer in Illinois. Across Illinois, 88 of the 183 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 119 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I am a new customer to Route 66 Solar and so far I could not be more disappointed. I used these google reviews to partially inform my decision to go with them over other options, so I feel obliged to share my experiences with them so that others don’t make the same mistake. I initially spoke with Scott, the owner, who was kind and informative. After agreeing to terms, Scott gave me a timeframe within which the install should occur. After that he allowed me to message him with a few questions, which I appreciated. The next I heard from anyone at their business was on 10/15 when someone called s

This is definitely not a genuine company. Hired me from CL to give a 5 star review so he could pay me but never keep his end of bargain. They never give any legit services but hire people to give fake reviews. Keep of as much as you can.

My favorite part is opening the app during sunny afternoons and seeing how much power the system generates. The company made setup easy and never pressured us into unnecessary upgrades.

Route 66 , Scott and team made this such an easy and stress- free experience. Everyone made sure I understood the process and answered any and all questions. They kept me up to date as they completed each step. I love the family owned business, they treat each customer like family! Thanks Scott!

Scott with Route 66 Solar is top notch! I have had so many D2D solar sales reps that act like they care but are only after a sale. Scott's team is like family and they care about their customers. Thank you Scott for providing such great customer service and using products made in the USA.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
