We had 12 panels installed on 11-6-25 but have not yet received any documentation for our panels or Enphase inverter. We have an error message on our meter but have no way to know what it is for or if we can correct it. We have requested the above numerous times over the past 4 months but their customer service is non-responsive. We don't even have the promised app so we can monitor our system. They took our money and ran.

Highly Recommend VT Solar! We had an outstanding experience with VT Solar from start to finish. Their team took the time to truly understand our energy goals and designed a system specifically tailored to our needs — not a one-size-fits-all approach. The installation crew was professional, informative, friendly, and incredibly efficient. They walked us through every step, answered all our questions, and made the entire process stress-free. We’re proud to have one of the first VT Solar systems in Northern NY, and it’s exciting to see them expanding into the area. If you’re considering solar and

Exceptional in every way. Friendly, highly professional, extremely knowledgeable, and a clear communicator. The materials and workmanship were terrific.

Worked with VT star solar and a great team from Hellbrook electric to install two arrays of roof panels just in time this past December 2025. We've had too much snow to produce much power yet this winter, but we are very happy with the work and workers and look forward to generating this coming season - thank you!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“less than your current electric bill. Guaranteed. Residential Solar Installation…”

Its website also mentions financing, free estimate and years in business, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Plattsburgh is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
