From my experience, I can see there are a lot of Solar companies that want to upsell a new system when they are called upon for a repair. This was my experience as my system was down, and two different solar companies advised me to replace all the panels. One difference I noticed with Weber Solar was that Quinn actually knew what he was doing. He diagnosed the system on his first visit. He did what the other Solar companies said could not be done. I saved a lot of money and would highly recommend Weber Solar!

One of my friends recommended Weber Solar Energy and vouched for Quinn, so I called for a quote. Quinn gave me all of the answers to the questions I didn't even know to ask. When I called my other top choice for a counteroffer, the rep had concerns about going with such a small company and gave me a list of questions to ask. I already had all of that information from Quinn, and everything was comparable but at a significantly lower price than the competitors, and they even encouraged me to choose Weber Solar Energy. Due to the demand and weather, it took a bit over a month for the panels to ar

We can't say enough about the quality and responsive service we received from Quinn, when our installer-of-record refused to communicate with us after six years and our equipment failed! Quinn is completely professional and patient with two elderly clients who just want/need the solar to work. If we could turn back the clock, we would have invested in the system from him initially-- it would have saved a lot of headaches and heartaches!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“production estimate–one that we’ll guaranteed. Planning to take down a worrisome…”

  • Years in business

“I’ve known and worked with Quinn for over 7 years, he’s a very honest, personable,…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on HomeAdvisor and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Auburn is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
