Absolute scam! Salesman “manager” Ty promised a far larger system than what was actually installed. The system installed is so inadequate, we are now paying double the energy cost that we were without solar. Ty also promised if we continued to get larger bills from Xcel, they would come and add panels to correct the issue. We have spent 3 months being kicked around between one solar and the company they sell the contract to and no one will even call us back. We have been promised 5 times that a tech would come out to make sure everything was working as it should and that has not happened. Scam

The worst company I've ever worked with. I'm providing a detailed report to show the lack of care, communication, and quality this company provides. *TLDR: A job that was supposed to take a couple weeks took 5 months to complete due to 1Solar's negligence. The whole process felt like a scam. 1Solar did not follow through with scheduling, didn't stick to timelines, didn't communicate, and ultimately did not make things right at the completion of the job. Once they take your money, they don't seem to care how the rest of the process goes. Sept 3, 2025: $4575 paid for solar panel removal and rein

This company is awful - avoid at all costs. We have had our panels for about 4-5 years. For the past year, they have not been producing and it's been hell trying to get a tech to come fix them. We never hear from them to schedule, they randomly send a text that they are coming by and then they don't show up. I have been paying for both the panels and now an electric bill monthly. AVOID THEM!

Install went well. It was a long wait (5 months) but my expectations were managed. Everything worked well. Service has been mixed. One of my micro inverters failed. I received the failed part through warranty. It was a long wait (8 weeks) with limited insight into scheduling. I get that they are busy, but managing expectations would be super helpful. The communication was not the best. Now the good, the tech that came out to help was super knowledgeable and helpful. He fixed my issue and offered advice. Bottom line: I am satisfied with the service. The wait times can be long, and the communica

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
