A.M. Sun Solar & Roofing

Each mark is one company we hold in Paso Robles whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. A.M. Sun Solar & Roofing is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

received none of the rebates that their salesman said we would get, they took several months more than was estimated to complete the job and were very hard to get in touch with thru it all. would give no stars if possible.

Spam calls, text soliciting, and constant knocking on my door is out of control. Company needs to stop buying information from the dark web. I have had solar for years. Stop the harassment. Please have your sales team do some homework. Perhaps they won't continue to waste everyone's time if they did.

It’s kind of a scam, if you don’t get the battery then you still pay the same amount per month to pg&e with the fees and you still have to pay these guys for the solar loan. They also charge for monitoring and a 15 year warranty which they went back on as soon as they installed yet they still charged me for. Flat out should be put out of business, even my sales person quit because they are a scam.

After months of researching solar installation companies, we made the decision to go with, who seemed to be, the best rated company on the Central Coast, A.M. Sun Solar. In December of 2024, A. M. Solar installed a new roof and solar panels on our home in Paso Robles. A.M. Sun Solar rep, Sonny, was knowledgeable and informative, describing not only the product(s) but the installation process. The installation was professional and efficient. At the end of work each day and at the completion of the project, the areas around our home were thoroughly cleaned up. Communication from the office and c

We had a solar panel array installed by AM Sun Solar in 2022. The price and installation were great, but their communication through the process from the project manager was lackluster, and the monitoring software is pretty poor. I ended up bypassing it and going directly from the AP systems inverter, so it worked out fine. Overall I'm satisfied with the outcome, but I think they could do better in these areas.

After two different local solar companies ghosted us, a friend connected us with A.M. Sun Solar—they were great! Fast, clear communication, got us up and running in just a few weeks. Really excited to be generating our own power!

Called on Memorial Day to let them know four of my panels weren’t showing any input. They called me back at 8:00 AM the next morning and had a technician at my house by 10:30 AM to swap out a part to get the panels back up and functioning. Jordan was the tech they sent out. He was extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. I inherited this system from the previous owner and did not expect this level of service or speed. I am very impressed and will happily recommend A.M. Sun Solar to anyone who asks.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Warranty

“to your needs, your system is guaranteed to be the right solution at a great…”

• Years in business

“having solar with A.M. Sun Solar for over 9 years they have seen benefits in many…”

Its website also mentions financing, free estimate and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• Google also lists this company under roofing. A company that does both roofing and solar can handle the roof work a panel install often needs.
• It posts on LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.

• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
