Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Burbank. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 49 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Burbank whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. ALA Renovations is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I am really happy I found this company. We installed solar about 5 months ago and also had our roofing done at the same time. We got 44 panels and now I am paying 0 dollars for my power bill every month.I especially want to thank Angelina, our project manager. She was very helpful from start to finish and always made sure we understood what was going on. She answered all our questions quickly and took care of everything so we never had to worry. If you are planning to get solar or need roofing work, I highly recommend this company. They truly care about their customers and do a great job.

Our house needed a lot of work, and I was honestly nervous to start everything at once. ALA Renovations helped us with the new stucco, roof replacement and solar panels.I especially want to thank David and Ashot. They were very organized, explained what was happening, and always tried to find a solution when something came up. There was a lot going on during the construction, but I never felt like I was left alone with the problems. Now the house looks completely different and we are very pleased with how everything came out. It was not a small project, but the whole process was much easier the

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“for California homes FAQs Are there financing options for roofing and solar projects? Yes,…”

  • Warranty

“in Los Angeles up to 50-year warranty Get a quote Why choose ALA? Choose us…”

  • Insured

“ALA? Choose us for fully licensed and insured roofing and solar solutions in Los…”

  • Licensed

“Why choose ALA? Choose us for fully licensed and insured roofing and solar…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Angi, Thumbtack, the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
