Its one and two star share is 7 points above the typical installer in the Pinellas Park area. Across Florida, 231 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 30 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

0% rated 1–2★30%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Pinellas Park area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Allied Veterans Roofing, Solar & HVAC Company is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Worst experience and terrible customer service. Have to send 8+ follow ups to even get a response, which is always subpar. My system is still not active but they (Allied Veterans and their contractor Gold Rush Energy) don’t respond to me. I signed my contract in 2022! I will be adding more detail to this review in order to warn prospectives.

So many problems with this company. Their sales rep showed up late. Thereafter, before giving us a price, wanted to know the amount for the other 2 quotes we got. Like NO, just give your best price. That's that. Their price was higher than the others. Stay away

I worked with Ryan Kidder and he was really nice and not pushy. We discussed my needs and other bad experiences with other solar companies and he went over my contract in detail so I would be comfortable with his offer and see that anything he promised me was clearly written in the contract. I appreciate that he called when he said he would and came out and met me to make sure he didnt miss anything and to get to know me. Very pleasant experience.

I had the pleasure of working with these guys and they are excellent! If you are in need of a solar quote or roofing/HVAC repairs, don't hesitate to reach out to them. There are some great financing options available to those who are on budget. Don't be deceived by the name "Allied Veterans". This company services everyone, not just veterans.

I worked with Ryan Kidder. He was extremely honest, informative, and detailed in his presentation. He was attentive to my concerns and questions. He took the time to explain things that weren't as obvious to me. I appreciate that kind of service. I recommend anyone looking for solar to give Ryan and Allied Veterans a chance to earn your business.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • Google also lists this company under roofing. A company that does both roofing and solar can handle the roof work a panel install often needs.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
