Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in the Tampa area. Across Florida, 324 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 109 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in the Tampa area, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★15%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Tampa area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Evolve Solar Operations FL is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

A salesman called me, asked me a bunch of questions when I said I couldn’t talk at work, and proceeded to hang up on me in the middle of me talking. Trash

I’m on Florida do not call list. I told them multiple times to stop calling me and to put me on their do not call list. Still calling.

I even called your office first and even asked if you have sales people in my area and who ever answered said yes sir we do... ) I dont know who ever needs to hear this. but we had a gentleman in his late 20s maybe early 30s (sales rep) come to the door today in the hemlock loop area in ocala. my wife opened the door and he started his pitch. she stopped him and said we are not interested.. Iv been in sales for 15 years i get that you dont just take your first no. But he was very rude about it. and when my wife said she is not interested again. he was like

I am so happy to have found his company after our installing company went out of business. They were able to get us in quickly, show up when they said they would, explain everything thoroughly and get us back up and running. Justin was super helpful and personable. I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of and they were reasonable in cost. Highly recommend!

Evolve Solar came to our rescue when we were in the market of adding additional panels to our existing system that were from the same company. Justin explained the entire process when adding to existing, answered all our questions and addressed all our concerns, he even went so far to break down what we could and couldn’t do. He even assisted with helping us get some warranty work done when we were having issues getting resolution on our previously installed system. I highly recommend Evolve Solar Operations, if you are considering going solar. They make the process stress free.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
