  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - I was forced to make a 5 star review while the company was working on the project, and when they were actually responsive to issues. They no longer respond, ignore phone calls, even the manufacturer is aware of the company's issues and that they will not respond to repair or warranty issues. Again DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - - unless you want to work on your own panels.

  Probably the worst company I've dealt with in a long time. The owner Ross is a scam artist and Celeste is extremely unprofessional. I promise you he paid for 90% of these fake positive reviews. They removed my panels on 11/3. My roofers notified them the job was done on 11/11 for them to come back and reinstall. It's now been 3 weeks and they are completely unresponsive after they missed their own deadline TWICE saying they are "backed up". Now, they are ignoring all attempts at communication.   Been dealing with this company for over a year and a half to have our complete system installed and still haven't had our battery installed. While part of that can be blamed on the company that they ordered from, the complete lack of being forthcoming with information is completely unprofessional from Solar Tech. It was my mistake to trust Ross when he asked me to release the funds for the battery even though it had not been installed. There is a reason that finance companies ask you not to release funds unless all of the work has been completed. Will never make that mistake again. Your servic

  I chose Solar Tech Elec mainly because they were the only installer who confidently guaranteed they could complete my solar panel and Tesla Powerwall installation before the end of the year, allowing me to capture the expiring tax credit. They delivered on that promise by getting the system installed in time, which stands out as the biggest positive from my experience and the primary reason I might consider them again in a similar time-sensitive situation.   My experience with Solar Tech Elec was great, from the first phone call with owner Ross, through the permitting, and installation with David and Brandon. Everything went as promised, including the projected cost savings on my electric bill! So I upgraded 2 months after the original install, in April '26, to another battery pack and a couple more panels, and even a 220v plug for my EV charger. The Tesla Powerwall and Gateway are user friendly through the app. And I like that it monitors the weather to make sure the batteries are 100% before severe weather.   The company has been great to work with. Super responsive! I got quotes from a local company, a national company, and two Florida-wide companies. This company was the best price by several thousands and uses some of the best equipment. They had everything installed very quickly. We just had our inspection signed off so I’m excited to start saving money on electric! Ross has been great to work with and answers all my questions very quickly. I would recommend them to everyone

• It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.
