Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Tampa. Across Florida, 249 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 517 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Tampa whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Lunex Power is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I'm not leaving a review because I purchased anything because I will not purchase anything from them. I am leaving this review because I told Dan twice as he was approaching me in my driveway that I was not interested and he still continued to come up in my driveway. He kept saying I'm not trying to sell you anything as he kept walking up still. This man was very pushy and really should not be doing this because he could really get hurt. He's done it to several other people out in my neighborhood. Then he just kept digging into my business of who all live there and what I paid a month for FPL.

I am writing this review to understand the discrepancy between the financial proposal I was sold and my actual monthly expenses. Before installing my 41-panel solar system, my peak monthly costs were approximately $510 ($300 for electric + $210 for insurance). I was told that with this system, my electric bill would be covered and drop to between $30–$45. Instead, my current monthly costs are $690 ($120 for electric + $245 for the dividend financing + $325 for my new insurance premium). I am struggling to see the benefit in this transition. I would appreciate some clarity on what I am missing

Not good. Not kept informed about progress.. Surprised by Duke energy and the disconnect confirmation for my address. I was not able to find out how it was ordered without my knowledge I watched as two tech sat around and not getting replacement equipment for the job or calling about such. Also I was promised a paper contract and never received it.

I have left 3 voicemail messages for a return call and have not heard from Lunex. I sent in verification of my solar panels output not being satisfactory, expecting a follow up from Lunex, but to no avail.

Just got system activated and producing more than I consume. Will walked me through it all easy.

I’ve had a great experience with Lunex so far. I got multiple quotes during the middle of last year from many companies trying to find a reputable place that wasn’t a fly by night. (Harder than you think) They were incredibly professional, insightful and competitive with their pricing. I ended up picking a full Enphase system through them that was using the latest micro-inverters and meter collar at the time. I believe one of the first few houses to use that after Florida Power & Light approved it. The system has been rock solid and produces exactly how we hoped and expected. Our energy bill i

Will did a great job on setting me up and showing me the app. Lunex overall was great, especially when we had issues with Duke Energy they went to bat for me. Thank you Lunex!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“you offer? We include a 30-year panel warranty, 10-year workmanship warranty, plus…”
  • 24/7 availability

“completion. Ongoing Support: 24/7 monitoring, maintenance plans, and…”
  • Established

“Impact at a Glance Projects completed since 2020 Happy customers who trusted us…”

Its website also mentions financing, free estimate and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
