Solar Max - Roofing and Solar

Each mark is one company we hold in the Clearwater area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Solar Max - Roofing and Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

The process is extremely slow, especially when it comes to permits. The contract clearly states a specific solar panel model, but during installation it was changed, with the explanation that the original panel was no longer in stock. The replacement panels are significantly overpriced after researching the brand and current market price, there is a large discrepancy compared to what I was charged. Communication is also very poor. Responses are slow and often delayed, but during contract signing they were very quick and pressured me to sign. Overall, the experience has been frustrating and mis

If we could give -5 stars we would give you all that. Please be very careful when you decide on getting work done from this company . They lie to you about things they to get the sale that they never come to fruition on. This company will never return phone calls or messages or emails once the work is completed. You might as well throw the number away as they will never come back to fix any issues. They damaged my gutters and my vehicle with a nail that shot off the roof from the aluminum drip edge. These manager of the crew stated they would take care of everything and we believe them comes t

Scammed us completely with deceptive sales tactics which isn’t legal. Not accredited with the BBB please stay far away from this company you will be overcharged by ATLEAST $20,000, yes 20k AND still receive a FULL electric bill even if when you are showing the energy stored vs used is above where they ask you STILL get a full bill. The good reviews are by each individual employee. Do NOT fall for this SCAM!

Maybe I'll come back and change this rating eventually but in general you can't get a hold of anyone, people don't really have adequate information to provide to answer your questions, and the installation and permitting process aren't laid out or communicated well. Including scheduling inspectors when you aren't even home so they can't complete the inspections and more weeks go by. Also they DID NOT TELL ME ABOUT YHE EXTRA COST. They will present your "monthly bill" but FAIL to mention still having to pay Duke $35 a month....which is 25% more than they told me I was going to have to pay! The

Charles did an outstanding job installing my new main breaker panel. From the moment he arrived, he was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the entire process. His workmanship was exceptional, and it was clear he takes great pride in doing the job right.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Financing

“Fast local design help. Clear financing options. Free solar quotes and design help…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It posts on X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
