Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in the Stockton area. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 12 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

0% rated 1–2★15%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Stockton area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. AMPWRX Solar Solutions is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I've been looking to get solar at my house for a long time now but I always felt a little intimidated about it because of my lack of knowledge on the subject. So once again I solicited 4-5 solar companies and got very different quotes. One company stood out above all the rest was AMPWRX Solar Solutions. Why? Communication and no strong arm sales tactics. They answered every question and made me feel more comfortable in my selection. Everyone I have dealt with at this company is very professional and top notch and I have no doubt the future relationship will be just as strong.

I am an ex-synergy customer, sadly they went out of business leaving me high and dry! My inverter had died and with no one to call I had no idea what to do, SolarEdge warrantied the panel, drop shipped a replacement, PG&E told me I needed to find a new installer, so i shopped around looking for a new company to partner with, I found the amazing people a Ampwrx to be the most responsive and helpful crew around, Mike swapped out my dead SolarEdge inverter and we had some laughs about the spot I was in, but he was really good about it, said they could help me out! Mike replaced the inverter, Bail

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“premium panels come with a 25 year warranty covering parts, labor, service, and…”
  • Years in business

“lifetime savings exceeding $35,000 over 25 years. Actual results vary based on system…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, established and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on ConsumerAffairs. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Facebook and Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
