Its one and two star share is 2 points above the typical installer in the Stockton area. Across California, 742 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 64 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Stockton area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. R.O.I. Solar inc is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I'm puzzled by other positive reviews, because ROI seemed so amateurish. They called to delay our installation the afternoon before they were supposed to start, then our system failed the first inspection, then unexplained delay in them submitting paperwork to power company ended up taking 4 months to turn on, and then no clear communication about how to monitor their system electronically. Frustrating because we repeatedly had to follow up on our unanswered questions about their work and their product.

All I can say is that I'm very pleased with the service I got from them. When I signed up for solar with Sun Power systems, they were the contractors who installed my system. Well, Sun Power went bankrupt and I was stuck with a non working system for overt a year. R.O.I. Solar's Leif contacted me a few months ago saying they might have a solution to my non working solar. Today, Jared just finished the install of my system and everything seems to be working great. Thank you R.O.I. Solar for getting my solar power up and running after stressing about this for over a year since Sun Power's bankru

Robert, Mike, and Junior did an excellent job installing our solar. They even paint matched the conduit pipes to the house colors to help camouflage them. Very satisfied!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great experience from start to finish with ROI Solar. Marvin came out to my home personally, took the time to answer all my questions and address every concern, and made sure I got the right battery for my needs — not just a sales pitch. The whole process was smooth and easy, and I love the new battery. Big thanks to Marvin, Kane, and Jared for making it painless. Highly recommend!

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
