Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in Milwaukee. Across Wisconsin, 28 of the 58 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 19 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Milwaukee whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Au Solar Services LLC is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Josh from AU Solar was wonderful to work with. He responded quickly to emails and texts, and when he was working on the roof he would always talk to me in the morning about what he was going to do, and at the end of the day about what they had finished and what was next. He removed my panels before my roof replacement and reinstalled them on the new metal roof. He repaired the damage to my solar panel wiring (squirrels) and installed critter guard around the panels. He was able to work with SolarEdge to get a faulty optimizer replaced under warranty as well, which I really appreciate since it

I recently hired Josh for a project, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From start to finish, he worked tirelessly, showing incredible dedication and skill. He completed the job on time with exceptional quality. Josh was professional, communicative, and went above and beyond. I highly recommend him to anyone needing top-notch work—truly a five-star experience!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“if your panel is suitable for a warranty claim. Measurements include voltage…”

Its website also mentions better business bureau and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Milwaukee is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
