Everlight Solar

Each mark is one company we hold in the Milwaukee area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Everlight Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Edit : Trying to get me to schedule a solar appointment after this review is wild.... This guy rings the doorbell at 715 at night on a weeknight and proceeds to try to look in our living room window. Purposely stood off camera which is ridiculously creepy. People like this are why people hate door to door salesman. Knew this knob was coming thanks to some friends. Can't read no solicitation signs. Apparently they have a permit. I'm sure the permit doesn't include trying to look in covered windows....probably why this sad company has a pending lawsuit.

They robo. called my cell number. I will not use them or any company that allows or purposefully does this.

Salesman comes to my house in the evening dressed in ALL black, and refuses to understand that I am not interested in a "free consultation" proceeds to push for my name, takes a picture of my house and address. After telling this person politely "no I'm not interested" three times I had to tell him to leave my property and shut the door in his face. Completely unprofessional, if I were interested in your company's product I'd call you.

Salesman was friendly, although there were a number of exaggerations about the product. The efficiency of the panels was overstated and we were told they could withstand baseball sized hail, though they had been tested to only 25mm (just less than an inch). Long-term savings was overstated since there was no recognition that dollars saved in 30 years are not equal to today’s dollars. We still hope to have a positive experience with the product.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Warranty

“solar panels that you own. 3. 25-year Warranty We monitor your solar system and back…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on TikTok, X, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
