Its one and two star share is 39 points above the typical installer in the Little Elm area. Across Texas, 42 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 24 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in the Little Elm area, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★55%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Little Elm area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Blue Chip Solar LLC is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Bluechip solar is the poorest i have ever known when it comes to customer service, they don't respond to emails and calls goes to voice mail.no way to contact them .this is so poor it's like I have been scammed by this company.

Please Buy solar from literally anyone else. Blue chip lies, it was a complete bait and switch, plus the panels stopped working after 1 year. All calls are continuously ignored and I now have to pay for both power and worthless solar panels. Once they have your money you no longer exist as a customer, zero customer service.

Sorry excuse for a company!!! Steer clear whoever is running this company does not know what they are doing. Took us almost 2 years to get our solar up and running with no help from these clowns

Blue Chip Solar LlC BCS sold me a 12.3KW Solar system in January 26 of 2023 that included 30 panels of SOLAREVER SE-182*91-410M-108N MODULES and 15 inverter of APSYSTEMS DS3-S MICRO-INVERTER (240V). The system was working until May 04 then degrade to half of the production. Christopher Flores emailed the ApSytems to fix my system. It’s working now. Thank you Chris

Great experience with Blue Chip. Installation went very smooth. Not only did the installation go smoothly but six months afterwards a hail storm hit requiring my roof to be replaced. Blue Chip was able to remove the panels the day before the roofers came, and reinstall them the day after they were finished. All the installers were professional in every way possible. Extremely happy with the production that I’m getting from my solar system.

The panels were installed quickly and the whole transaction was seemless. We were excited to hear about the different programs offered and even more excited that the one we wanted was perfect. James has been beyond helpful with answering any questions and easing any concerns we had. He is a great business man but above that he’s a great person. We enjoy time we spend with him, he makes it known he’s here to help us!!! Any company would be lucky to have someone so helpful in their business. The panels look so sharp on our home. I’ll take a picture to add in the morning

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
