Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Little Elm. Across Texas, 340 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 21 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in Little Elm, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★55%

Each mark is one company we hold in Little Elm whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Lucent Home Energy is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I have our solar agreement done with lucent/Greenlight. I will suggest to find some better company. It is almost a year and till now they have not got all cleared from the TNMP and City to clear and start receiving the credit. They promise high, they don't deliver and keep the word.

We had issues with install. They cut our internet. It's confusing who to call. We weren't aware there were so many different agencies involved. We were also led to believe we'd get the total tax credit to apply to our loan. That was not true either. It's over a LONG period of time. We had issues w damage to a few panels. It took 3 months to get that adjusted. When they're all up & running they're great but, we are not saving money. We are still using more electricity than they are generating.

I got my solar system installed with Lucent about 3-4 months ago and so far I don't regret my decision! Yousef the sales representative was very good in answering my questions thoroughly, and even followed up during the process and after the installation. The installation was quick, efficient & clean. Definitely a great experience! A+ company!

So we finally made the decision to go solar but our research did not stop there. Now it was time to locate the best provider. My wife likes to call me “the investigator” because I do so much research before making any kind of decision. But I know that is just her way of teasing me because she is just as happy with the price and service we ended up with from Lucent as I am.

Just got installed with Lucent solar. Great experience with them, fast, professional, and efficient install. Also Yousef was great answering all the questions that we had, and from start to finish it was a smooth process. Highly recommended to everyone!

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Little Elm is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
