Its one and two star share is 1 point above the typical installer in California. Across California, 714 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 28 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

This is a terrible company. We have had leaks ever since they put solar mats on our roof 3 total. When I need to get something fixed, they call days later. Then they say they can get someone there 2 or 3 days later. This system is pouring water loke Niagra off the roof, but they can't be bothered. Avoid this company at all costs.

We did not receive any information on the call. He just left, no email, phone call, text. What happened, how was the unit, is it working properly. Nothing I will be calling tomorrow. …

Adjusted pool clock incorrectly and pump settings

Our pool panels are doing their job well in heating up our pool water. Our pool is smaller and it took no time at all to bring up the temperature. We did notice a couple of small leaks and when I notified them they came back the next day to correct . Overall I’m happy with the system Celestial installed. Also their pricing was more affordable than another I had contacted.

Julian from Celestial solar is an awesome tech. He took his time to listen to my concerns then took his time to investigate them. He looked at the entire system to verify everything was in working order. Highly recommend them.

Our technician was timely and competent. Celestial Solar does great work!

Reviewer names are not published here. Negative reviews are shown first because they are the ones a listing hides, not because they are more representative.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“to install. Who do I contact for the warranty on my system after it is installed?”

  • Established

“the best quality products and service since 2001 . We are the solar & water…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and insured, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It posts on X, LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
