Forme Solar Electric - Los Angeles

Each mark is one company we hold in Los Angeles whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Forme Solar Electric - Los Angeles is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

At this point, I'd steer people away from Forme (now apparently named NetZero), especially if you're considering a battery with your solar. One of the most important things to me when choosing an installer was their ability to monitor my system and proactively reach out if they saw a problem. I had the unfortunate experience of installing solar at a prior home, and having the installer and manufacturer go out of business. Forme sold me on the fact that they'd be able to monitor my system remotely and proactively reach out to me or Enphase to handle problems; they even showed me an example of t

I'm always suspicious of companies that don't answer inbound calls to the number they advertise for their business. The phone just rang and ring until I hung up. Furthermore, when there is no voicemail in place to take a message, it leaves me scratching my head and moving along to the next company. If a company can't answer an inbound sales call to generate revenue, they will absolutely never answer a service call.

This is already my second extension to my initial system installed by a different company about 10 years ago. I bought an Hybrid plugin and realized immediately that i needed a few more panels. I called Nick and he send a team out to check my system and made me a very attractive offer for the extension. However the biggest problem was sourcing some parts that would be compatible with my older Inverter and system. Due to the tariff problem sourcing from China was taking time. But they didn’t drop me and finally last week they installed the extension. After installation a new version of the inve

I had a great experience with Forme Solar from start to finish. The team was responsive, showed up when they said they would, and took the time to explain our options. The installation team was professional and clean, and they handled permits and inspection smoothly. For a 9.2kW solar system and a Tesla Powerwall 3 battery and inverter. It is refreshing to work with a solar company. That clearly knows what they’re doing and stands behind the quality of their work.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Licensed

“is a very important one. You wanted a licensed, qualified expert solar technician…”

Its website also mentions warranty and free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on Pinterest, Instagram, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
