Per phone call with Eddie Rodriguez, it was made clear that I wanted to have it installed by end of year in order to qualify for the tax credit before it expired. A lot of time passed by without hearing back. Then I was told the solar panels that I had agreed to are no longer available. They replaced them with cheaper options.   I paid almost $50,000 in full for our solar project and encountered significant issues from start to finish. To address the issues, I communicated directly with Michael (Sales Administrator), Gerson (Customer Service Manager), Mohaimen (Director of Operations), and other managers/employees. Management acknowledged the issues and promised a resolution/accommodation but has now ghosted me. Buyer beware - once they get your money, they won't follow through.

  I'm disappointed with my experience all around with Solar Optimum. I reached out initially after reading great reviews - they were initially diligent at getting us on the phone, they sent out their tech to survey the site, and later came back to us explaining that they wouldn't be able to install their original proposal because of setbacks and code. Their new plan could get us about 30% of what they had proposed, so we ended the project there.   Initial start was rocky... sales guy was great at selling, "engineers" had trouble listening to what I was telling them. But after we sorted everything, system was installed, up, and running fairly quickly. I gave them a so-so review because of the initial difficulty and they gave me a few hundred off my system to upgrade to a 5-star review. Shady, but eye-opening. Sales guy from Solar Optimum helped any time the wi-fi went out, or changed, and I eventually got pretty good at resetting the system, myself. And that has been my biggest problem with it... I have to reset the system too frequently

  Great company if you are looking for solar. I was shopping around for my adu and many company did not want to speak with me until my adu was actually completed. Solar Optimum met with me and then agreed to work on my solar project as long as my meter was ready to go. Quotes were very competitive along with excellent customer service and very quick response time. I would highly recommend. I recently referred my neighbor, and they are also in the process of using solar optimum for their adu.

  Solar Optimum installed my solar panels a few years ago and all has been working well. Recently I contacted them to inquire about the feasibility of installing a battery back up. It took a few days to get a response but when I did get a response I understood the delay. Representative Tom gave a very complete explanation and analysis of my current usage that obviously takes time to review/ study my billing and usage from SCE. The explanation answered more than I expected and he explained the different battery choices and capacity. Solar Optimum is a Top company with highly knowledge staff.

  I had solar installed by Solar Optimum, and the entire process went very smoothly from start to finish. Communication was excellent throughout, and everyone I dealt with was professional, helpful, and kept me informed along the way. I’m very pleased with the installation and overall experience and would recommend Solar Optimum to anyone considering solar.
