Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in the Freehold area. Across New Jersey, 128 of the 237 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 11 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Freehold area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. City Park Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I had the pleasure of working with Mario Volpi. He took his time to explain & guide us, through the entire process. He was recommended by a coworker who got solar for his home through City Park Solar. If you’re in the market for solar, this is the place to go. Even if you’re not sure whether solar is the way to go, call Mario and talk with him first. Special thanks to my coworker, Mark Riftkin, for recommending this company. He saved us hundreds a month by going solar.

I have worked with Mario and City Park Solar to install my solar system. I am extremely happy with the results and I have referred friends to Mario. They would all agree that Mario and City Park are professional and explained the entire process thoroughly. The most impressive point that comes to mind is that whenever I had a question Mario always answered my calls. Never with a text or email but I was able to reach him. I would recommend Mario and City Park Solar to anyone.

City park are a very professional company. Mario talked us through every detail of how to save money with the solar panels and how much it will be worth having to save money. He was very courteous and gave us some knowledge on how this process would work. Also the pros and cons of leasing and buying the panels. The installation was put in very neatly and actually there aren’t noticeable on their house, and I am very happy with work, I would definitely recommend this company to everyone who is looking to save money on their electric bill. I couldn’t be more happy. Thank you city park!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“reach your energy goals. Satisfaction Guaranteed Our products are backed by leading…”

Its website also mentions financing and free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
