Its one and two star share is 61 points above the typical installer in Delaware. Across Delaware, 0 of the 18 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 7 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Delaware whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. CNC Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I literally cannot get Tom to call me back. I have been trying off and on since January (over 10 months). I'm hoping this negative review spurs him into calling me back and addressing our issue. His crew took down, and then reinstalled panels when we replaced our roof. When the panels were reinstalled, 4 of them did not appear to be working. We simply want these panels working again, but I cannot get him to respond to numerous text, calls, and emails to investigate the issue and fix these panels.

Called for MC4 connectors and the girl that answered the phone had no clue of what l was talking about.

Overall experience has not been good. Communication has been spotty at best until recently and it turned nonexistent. I am not sure they are still in business. Find another company.

Tom and company are very responsive and great to work with. I highly recommend them!

Tom C and crew are great folks. Installation went fast. They helped with the RECs auction which I would never have figured out on my own. They coached me thru reporting my RECs generated so I get credit. Highly recommend.

What reviewers keep mentioning

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions financing, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
    • It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
