The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 127 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.
Every company we hold in Pensacola, on one axis

Awful warranty service on the system, would never buy anything from them parts and labor covered says the contract. Nope, they wasted time trying to repair and never did and then billed astronomical amounts for me to pay.

Updated Response: According to you it was a lightening strike but considering this was the third time I had a communication issue your opinion is suspect. When I purchased another 40k in solar panels there's a reason I didn't call you for the new system. Your lack of standing up for your work. You forget how long it took you to answer calls for repairs. Even when I called you for this issue it took 3 days and a second call to get you in the phone. Why would I deny having the panels removed? It was 2 years later and had nothing to do with the communication problems I was having. AGAIN. Also the

Please think twice before going with solar from Compass Solar Energy. They will not stand up for their customers with warranty issues from manufacturers that they align themselves with and are happy to sell you their products. Yes, Compass resells products from other manufacturers, but the warranty is only as good as the company behind it. If you have a problem, Compass is very happy to charge you service/inspection fees for determining if your system truly has a problem, but they won't stand behind the products they sold you. They will claim there's nothing they can do, so you will be stuck w

I had solar installed a few years ago by Compass. Everything went fine, but they were never able to have the hardware show the production/consumption since install. I never fully signed off on the install and tried going back and forth with the guy I was dealing with with no solution. I'm figured since it was producing, whatever. Fast-forward and I get a $165 power bill vs the usual $26 base rate to find my solar edge production stopped due to... Needing a firmware update. I contacted compass about getting it fixed, and apparently the warranty stuff is just parts and they charge a $250 trip fe

I wish there was more than just 5 stars to rate them , Because they are worth so many more! They show app on time , Cleaned up after themselves, kept us informed about everything and we're very kind. The office crew is amazing and the field crew is very knowledgeable and professional. This company will be our families go to for any solar repairs moving forward. Hands down one of the best companies we have ever worked with. Thank you, Levi for showing me what the issue was.And how you corrected it , and I apologize for not remembering the other two gentlemen's names , but I appreciate them as w

I am from Destin and Compass was willing to help me add 5 panels to my current system. Dan Gardner traveled and got on my roof to make sure it would fit, gave me an estimate and assisted in the installation. I am totally satisfied with the quality of work and the fact that they would not leave until they made sure everything was working with emphase software and my phone application. Everything works perfect! I am very satisfied with my installation and how everything works right the first time.

What the company says about itself
Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.
Years in business
“Practitioners ( NABCEP ), we have over 45 years of combined experience in the solar…”
Its website also mentions free estimate, established and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.
Elsewhere
- It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
- It posts on X, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
