These guys are absolutely terrific. I did a lot of research before we went with Croton Energy -- solicited a dozen bids, met with five companies -- and I'm so glad we chose this company. Croton Energy Group just completed a small solar panel installation (4.3 kW) on our roof. The whole process was remarkably efficient. Communication throughout the various stages of the project was exemplary. The array is up and running, on time, at the estimated cost, and with the expected performance. Thank you, Croton Energy, for a job well done.

My experience with Croton Energy Group has been amazing. From diagnosis to repair, I was confident I had made the right decision. Leo and his team where communicative and informative. Their attention to detail is impressive, very clearly quality tradesmen that take pride in their work. Great doing business with you.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It posts on Facebook and LinkedIn. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
