Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in New York. Across New York, 122 of the 247 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 91 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Rushed through the final hours of the job and said they would be back the next day to clean up. They never came. Hundreds of nails were left all over our property where our dog runs all day and got a puncture wound as a result. Tried to reach out to Alex and he did not respond.

Top Notch Service; Very Knowledgeable Team. Arrived on time; diagnosed problems in less time cited and fully repaired my optimizer and monitoring problems with multiple follow ups. If you need solar support and you’re anywhere in the New York area why call anyone else. I highly recommend Brightlight Solar Energy for all your concerns.

Bright Light Energy was fantastic! Alex and Jeanette were absolutely amazing — professional, communicative, and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. They removed and reinstalled all 8 of my solar panels, pulled the necessary permits, and brought the foundation up to code with the Town of West Haven. Everything was done right, by the book, with zero headaches. Highly recommend Bright Light Energy to anyone in the West Haven area!

contacted bright light to inspect our solar which wasnt producing; found the problem within one hour and scheduled a return date to fix. Excellent communication, no surprise charges, and wonderful scheduling with JANICE who is lovely.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions free estimate and 24/7 availability, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
