WARNING - received message that monitoring by Solar Edge will no longer be available. I have reached out to DC Solar multiple times, no one responds. I had the same issue someone wrote about earlier regarding missing permitting documents, fortunately I got that resolved after getting other parties involved. Not sure what is going on with DC Solar but it's not good. I hope they can become responsive.

BE WARNED My solar was installed in 2017. Soon I figured out that they did not give me the inspection information required to get the property-tax abatement. After many email exchanges, they simply stopped responding to my emails. They did not return my calls, either. Finally, I got a supervisor on the line--I did not give my name to his secretary--who said he would fix the problem. Soon, he ghosted me too. Pretty soon, I just gave up. I'm not proud of it, but I did. Then, the monitoring system failed. So I had no way of seeing if the panels even worked any more. This summer, I have noticed th

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“INSTALLATIONS We offer flexible financing options to make solar energy more accessible…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and years in business, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
