Its one and two star share is 10 points above the typical installer in New Jersey. Across New Jersey, 65 of the 237 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 650 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Trinity Solar did less than half an hour of work and billed me for a complete hour. I have reached out to customer service regarding this and have received no response.

0 Stars if possible, They lie to you over and over again. Cause they sold their soul to the Devil. There are no true savings, if not it costs you more. My sister was a cancer patient under morphine, and thy forced her to sign documents, and they only installed 5 panels on her house, 5 months later my sister died and they want $25000 to disconnect and terminate the contract. Salsman, sweet talk you into how much money you would save and cons you into signing, after installation, there are no true savings. Lies, lies, lies. I also got solar panels from the same salesman and my 1st months bill wa

Don’t answer the phone. Say they will call back but don’t. Promise no electric bills except for the monthly paper bill and that’s a lie.

Installation was great. However, it took 4 months to activate.

I have to be honest, the whole process started out great, got horrible and ended great. The initial design was done without realizing the house next door was going to shade the solar panels (google had not been updated with the renovation of the house, going from a ranch to a two-story colonial). Therefore the design and installation created a shortfall in our production. We pushed back and refused to sign the agreement so they had to find a new finance company, redesign our array, and add more panels. Our salesman, Isaac Crum, stayed right there with us through the whole fiasco and even conne

They do return all phone calls ,although sometimes later in the day. And some of the reps are better than others at giving good & helpful information. My advice--ask for Gabrielle

Trinity and especially Issac Crum and Gina have been nothing short of amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone considering solar.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“solar panel quote Share payment and financing options Share details about state incentives…”
  • Free estimate

“most trusted solar companies. Get a free consultation A solar company New Jersey can trust…”
  • 24/7 availability

“problem with your roof, we’re on call 24/7. No really—if you find a leak at 3…”
  • Established

“a Top Solar Contractor 12 times since 2012 What your neighbors are saying “The…”

Its website also mentions warranty, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on ConsumerAffairs, Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
