Its one and two star share is 4 points above the typical installer in Clovis. Across California, 576 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 96 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I had a deal with this company where they were supposed to pay me money after the solar installation was completed. Once the installation was done, the closer told me, “I’ll hit you up in a few weeks, we’ll have everything done,” but they never followed through. Since then, both the owner and the closer have stopped responding, and my calls now go straight to “this number can’t be reached.” I have been unable to contact anyone from the company. I am now filing complaints with the California Contractors State License Board and local authorities. This has been my experience, and I want others to

The sales folks were very nice and patient and communicative with us. However the installation has been pretty terrible. The first crew made a huge mess, put our battery and inverter in the wrong place (clearly violating city rules) and made big holes in our walls. It’s been months and our system still isn’t turned on, the holes are still there, and I keep finding trash they left behind. Each time someone does come they are polite and everything but something always comes up and then they don’t come back for weeks. I get messages from different people and don’t actually even know who is in wha

Well after being told I would be escalated to have our system finally finished after 3+ months we still have nothing. Still pulling from the PG&E team and still have trash and ugly spots where they put the battery in the wrong spot. We have small kids and they left my ladder up and all these small plastic bits all over. I am not even sharing the piles of other trash left behind. EMBR is not proving to be a quality business at all.

EMBR IS AMAZING. Speechless. After just a few months of my equipment up and running no more problems. I’ve previously went with Sun Run and you know the rest. These guys were great all around seriously. The installation was a bit wonky but all was sorted in a timely matter thanks to the gentleman Christopher. The salesman Kahlil was great and extremely polite and truthful. I was extremely adamant about no more solar or any risk of extra bills, but went with my gut and couldn’t be happier.

EMBR solar panels work very well. They also efficiently and effectively took care of some warranty work and cleaned my panels. I will buy batteries from them in the future.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions 24/7 availability, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
