Its one and two star share is 5 points above the typical installer in Wallingford. Across Connecticut, 32 of the 112 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 12 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Wallingford whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Empower Solar & Roofing is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Avoid this company at all cost. They are not trust worthy and do not deserve your business. They will tell you and promise you anything to get you to sign to get your money. They will have the sales team promise verbally and in writing knowing they have no intention on following through. When things turn out differently than you were told and promised, they will not make it right. I 100% regret doing business with this company.

Good work, fair pricing. Empower Solar & Roofing installed my roof, solar panels, gutters, windows, doors, painted the house and made concrete sidewalks on the left and right side of my house. I would recommend this company to any homeowner looking for good work and fair pricing.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“take advantage of tax incentives and financing options designed to save you money. We're…”

  • Warranty

“pocket and start saving TODAY!. Roof Warranty Every solar installation comes with…”

  • 24/7 availability

“monitoring Monitor your system 24/7 from anywhere in the world. how does…”

  • Insured

“solar & roofing is licensed and insured, with a dedicated work force of local…”

  • Licensed

“Empower solar & roofing is licensed and insured, with a dedicated work…”

Its website also mentions established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Wallingford is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
